Main Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement workshops to capture customer requirements and advise customers on solutions in the areas of reporting, controlling, and corporate planning
• Create an analysis concept to document the requirements
• Assist in creating a design concept in collaboration with the Solution Architect and the customer’s subject matter experts, describing how the requirements will be technically implemented
• Present and finalize concepts with the customer
• Main contact person for the development team and interface to the customer
• Test implemented solutions for user-friendliness, completeness, and process optimization
• Create BI reports based on provided developments in MS Power BI
• Present implemented solutions to the customer
• Support the customer’s test acceptance process, including conducting training
• Responsible for transitioning to the customer’s operational process
• Mentor for Junior Consultants

Project Management Tasks:

• Coordinate and manage the project team regarding resources, budget, time, and quality during the analysis, testing, and UAT phases
• Assist in project planning, including communicating relevant milestones to the customer
• Participate in project steering committee meetings

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a BI consultant, preferably in a leadership position
• Fluent in German and English
• Solid experience in BI projects
• Expertise in designing business requirements and translating them into technical solution designs
• Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Acterys, CPM tools)
• Understanding of common data warehouse approaches and components in the Microsoft Stack (Data Factory, Databricks, Fabrics, Synapse)
• Team player
• Strong communication skills and presentation competence
• High self-motivation
• Enthusiasm for new tools and technologies
• Process know-how in ERP/CRM systems
• Experience with MS Azure or other cloud-based technologies
• Experience in project implementations (>150 project days)
