Main Responsibilities

• Support in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other relevant Azure services
• Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and project managers in developing solutions that meet defined requirements
• Develop and maintain data integration processes from various sources into Azure data lakes or databases
• Optimize data storage, processing, and querying procedures for performance and scalability
• Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future references
• Stay up to date with Azure technologies and best practices in data engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Passion for data engineering and business intelligence
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Scala, Java, C#
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Open-mindedness, motivation, and self-organization
• Practical experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform is an advantage, especially Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power BI or another reporting tool is a plus
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts is advantageous
• Experience with CI/CD is a plus
